How much do your cakes cost?

I'm so glad you asked! There is a $150.00 minimum for custom cakes. Prices for cakes and other decorated desserts vary depending on ingredients, size, detail, and the complexity of design. 

Do your cakes taste good?

I get this question quite often and I love it! Not only do my cakes look good, but they taste good as well! I use fresh and high quality ingredients to ensure a rich flavorsome treat. 

Do you cater to specific dietary restrictions?

Yes we do! We offer some vegan treat options and can substitute in recipes where it is allowed. When placing your order please specify the dietary restrictions and we will let you know if we can make those accommodations. Some desserts may not be offered due to your dietary restrictions.

How can I place my order?

You can place an order simply by contacting me by phone, sending an email, or submitting an inquiry on this website. When sending an email or inquiry please include date and time of event, any themes or colors, flavor and the amount of people attending. Pictures of any ideas are also welcome!

Do you offer cake tastings?

We offer cake tasting to couples for a fee of $30.00. The will be applied towards your order. You can choose 3 cake and icing flavors. You will also be provided with a small goodie box to take home to help make your decision. 

When will I receive a response to my inquiry?

We will respond to your inquiry within 24 hours. For a faster response you can call or send a text between the hours of 9AM - 8PM at (240) 733 - 7153.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes, we do offer delivery and we encourage it for large cake orders! We want to ensure your cake order arrives in perfect condition! There is a base fee of $20.00 within a 15 mile radius. For deliveries outside of the 20 miles radius, there is an additional fee of $1.00 per mile.

Do you ship your desserts?

Currently we do not ship any of the desserts. We are working towards shipping our small desserts in the near future. 

How early should I place my order before my event?

We encourage customers to place their orders as soon as possible. However, we do ask that orders are placed at least 3 weeks in advance since we are sometimes booked weeks ahead of time. We understand that sometimes events are planned last minute so please contact us to check date availability. We will be happy to fit you in where my schedule allows!

How do I pay for my order?

An invoice will be sent to the customers email once an order is placed giving payment options. Payments are excepted through Paypal, CashApp or Zelle.

Do I have to pay a deposit when placing my order?

Orders of $125 and under should be paid in full when placing your order. Orders placed ten days or less from the event date are to be paid in full when placing your order.

Orders placed 3 weeks or more from the event date require a retainer of 60% of the total cost to confirm and hold the reservation. The retainer is refundable up to 14 days before the event date minus a $50 transaction fee for consultation and services rendered.

The remaining balance for order is due no later than 7 days before the event date. Late or no payment is subject to cancelation. Late payments/orders may result in substitutions or modifications to the original order.

Cancelations received after 14 days from the event date may not be subject to a refund.

How long do I have to cancel my order?

We understand that sometimes things happen and you may need to cancel your event. Customers are urged to cancel their order in 14 or more days before the event to receive a refund of the retainer minus a $50.00 transaction fee for consultation services rendered. Cancellations received less than 14 days from the event date may not be subject to a refund.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

The retainer is refundable in 14 or more days before the event minus a $25.00 transaction fee for consultation services rendered. If you have paid a retainer, the remainder of your total balance is due no later than one week before your event. Late or no payment is subject to cancellation. Late payments may result in substitutions or modifications to the original order. Cancellations received on or within 7 days of the event date may not be subject to a refund. Mouth Full of Crumbs reserves the right to exercise artistic license in order to guarantee the structural, visual, and creative integrity of a dessert structure.
